The equipment we sell can be ordered two ways: cleaned and serviced or remanufactured.


With the cleaned and serviced option, each item goes through a process where it has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, and tested by our manufacturer certified technicians. This guarantees that the equipment will be in full working condition per the manufacturer’s specifications. All wear parts on the machine have been checked and tested for defects and will be 100% functional. The item may have some cosmetic imperfections. Cleaned and serviced comes with a thirty day parts and labor warranty for equipment delivered within the United States.

During the remanufacturing process each item goes under a multipoint inspection. Our machines are thoroughly tested and professionally remanufactured to a "like-new" condition. This process is conducted in-house, ensuring complete control over quality. We start by stripping down the machine to bare metal and applying a fresh coat of paint. The next step is to test the batteries (alternators or generators) to ensure longevity. We use only OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement parts on every piece of equipment such as the electronics, console overlays, decals, drive belts, gears, motor shrouds, etc. Remanufactured comes with a six months parts and labor warranty for equipment delivered within the United States.

We can also offer extended warranties, which are available at checkout., on remen The warranty begins when the equipment is delivered. If there is any damage to the machine, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser only.

During the warranty period, The Fitness Resource of New York LLC will either repair or replace, at its option, defective part(s) at no charge. Additionally, TFR will cover labor costs for any required repairs for a period of time from date of delivery as noted above.

The warranty is void if the equipment is used in a manner not defined in the owner’s manual, or assembled and disassembled incorrectly. Equipment is not to be used with an extension, nor be used in an outdoor environment. Acts of Nature will also void the warranty.

We reserve the right to use remanufactured or after market parts for the equipment repair.

What is covered under the warranty?

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on the equipment. What we do cover:

Motor control boards, control panels, switches, wires, and motors. This includes all mechanical and electric systems. Equipment that is not maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommendations shall void this warranty. Electronic equipment, including motors which are not properly maintained will not be covered.

What is not covered under the warranty?

Plastics, covers, shrouds and other cosmetic components. We guarantee these pieces will be present and free of defects upon arrival. Please inspect the equipment before accepting delivery. If the Plastics, covers, shrouds and other cosmetic components break during the warranty period, it is your responsibility to replace these components at your own expense.

In addition, integrated and removable LCD screens and Personal Viewing Systems (PVS) are guaranteed for only 24 hours after the equipment has been received. The LCD/PVS screens are excluded from any limited or extended warranty.

International Warranty

For customers located outside the United States, we offer a parts only warranty, as outlined on your invoice. We will send these parts to you at our expense. For more expensive parts, we may ask you to pay a refundable core deposit. Once the core has been received, the hold will be released.

Miscellaneous

The Fitness Resource of New York, LLC shall have no obligation or liability, whether arising in contract (including warranty), tort (including active, passive or imputed negligence and strict liability), or otherwise, for damage to the equipment, property damage, loss of use, revenue or profit, cost of capital, cost of substitute equipment, additional costs incurred by buyer (by way of correction or otherwise) or any other incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages, whether resulting from non-delivery or from the use, misuse or inability to use the product.
